A Penny Saved Is a Penny Earned
As the saying goes，"A penny saved is a penny earned." Thrift is a virtue that our elder generation treasures and should be inherited by us.
As we all know，many historical figures lived a thrifty life. Yao，the ancient Chinese emperor，often wore linen clothes and ate coarse steamed rice. He devoted himself to his work and paid no attention to luxury or enjoyment. His thrift won him the love of people and made him a saint in Chinese history.
As to me，I believe there are several ways to live thriftily. First of all，I never spend money on things unnecessary for my life，which can help me to save money for any unexpected emergency in the future. Secondly，I never waste any thing I possess and always make the best use of everything.
Finally，I try to engage myself more in my work and study，so that I do not have too much time and energy for material luxury and live a more simple but meaningful life.

A Penny Saved Is a Penny Earned
As the saying goes，"money is not almighty，but without it you can do nothing.” Therefore，we can see the importance of money in our life. Some people treasure it very much and believe “a penny saved is a penny earned"，so they save it. However，others think money is important just because they can exchange their money for what they want，and gain immediate pleasures. In my opinion，saving money is necessary for a family.
First of all，saving money can help us deal with unexpected things in the future，thus giving us more security. What's more，sometimes saving money can bring us happiness. It allows us to build up a larger sum，so we can then buy something more worthwhile. Even we can use our savings to help those in need.
As for me，I'd like to lead a more secure and happier life，so I have the habit of saving money every single month for unexpected needs. In this way，I will also be able to buy things I truly want but cannot afford right now.
